Just looking at the pictures of people arriving there to muddy ground, I can't imagine why anybody would want to go and camp in a muddy field

I know it's been bad at times when we've been at the TT pits but never anything like Glastonbury. Is it any wonder they just walk away away from their tents and leave the clearing up for others to do!!
Hey! hang on a minute . . .

There are so many smaller festivals with ace bands where you can get close up to them, have good facilities and not queue for ages. Bike rallies

And not even a race to look forward too
The thought of fighting your way through that mud to go to the loo in the night

gosh! It doesn't bear thinking about! Even Dan couldn't enjoy it I'm sure
And the price of the tickets

are enough to make your eyes water

Hey! hang on a minute . . .

You mean they actually PAY to go through that hell Daph?

. I would have to stay in the loo all the time so I had one when I needed one

, my days of holding on are long gone

Perhaps as well I have no sense of smell

. The cost of sitting in a muddy field listening to a few ageing rockers or spotty youths strumming on guitars can't be more than a couple of quid can it? It's not like there is anything really worthwhile watching is it? I think you will know what I mean by that

Dan, if it was the Steam Packet running it I think it would be more than £200.

You are right Pete, that would probably be the cost for using a toilet

Watched some of it on TV

well worth the cost of a ticket

if you could cope with the rain, mud, grotty loos etc. And how do you find your tent at night?
Daph's right about the rubbish to clear up afterwards

I struggle when it's the only one in the field
