Unread postby MickStaiano » Sat Jan 14, 2012 5:12 pm

Anyone have an idea where this outfit has ended up?

Belonged to Bob Philpot, sold by Mick roundabout 1979/80.

1st picture shows sidecar with fairing, 2nd is the same sidecar naked.

The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.

But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.

Looks like Mal White wearing the hat, I thought the one in the white shirt was Mick Staiano but I am sure he was never that slim !

Left to right,

Mal White, Phil Spendlove, Mick, and Alan Couldwell.

Bottom pic is Bob Philpot, passenger might have been a Robert?
They finished as the 1st four-stroke home and won a silver replica in either 77 or 78.
