Tim Reeves and James Neave have pole in Albacete for this weekend's superside race, from Paivarinta/Hanni in second place with Ben and Tom Birchall in third. The times at the front are all very close though, should be a good race. Jamie Biggs won't be racing having hurt 2 fingers on his right hand in a spin in qualifying. Donington may have been a three day meeting but that didn't stop the sidecars coming out in force - just three short of reserves again. Along with all the regulars we were joined by Nick Houghton and Paul Thomas for the second time this year, with the intention of finishing the season with us, and Vince and Phil Biggs aboard the immaculate Busch BMW who also intend to finish the season with us.

Andrew Pitt and Kenan Sofuoglu both crashed out of today's eighth round World Supersport championship race at Misano in Italy. Neither rider was injured, but the race was red flagged just after Sofuoglu's crash because of oil on the track, with Britain's Cal Crutchlow winning on aggregate time after the restart.
