There was a front wheel drive BSA A65 outfit at the 2010 VMCC 1000 bikes festival.I do not know if it was this one.

Thanks Jim for posting those excellent pictures :D :D and to everybody else at the Beezumph for all their help and encouragement :) :) . Now I have to start stripping the BSA to find out what was causing the mystery noise :? :? .

Just got back ,Went on my Gold Star,Great assortment of outfits including a couple of Harley,Guzzis,BMWs and even some BSAs.Excellent atmosphere and you get really close to the action.Well worth the trip. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

It is not just the noise,I agree that they still sound good slightly quieter,but it is the look and classic styling that is altered,Manx Nortons and the like look wrong with alloy mufflers stuck on the end of megaphones . ;) ;)

There did seem to be some variations in the way the tests were undertaken, on some bikes they seemed to hold the probe parallel to the exhaust but as my exhaust exits from under the sidecar floor, just in front of the sidecar wheel, they placed the probe virtually in the end of the exaust. 109 db ...
