Michael Salmon (aka Mick or Mike) died on Tuesday 5 November. He had lived with Lewy Body Dementia since January 2020 but it was only in 2024 that his health deteriorated significantly.

Michael had raced sidecars for 34 years, since 1975, initially at Club and National level, before racing in ...

Sorry to hear this. We have some good memories of racing against Alf and Joanna at Snetterton. RIP.

Some of you may remember Charles Golinveaux, known as Charly, who raced a classic outfit at Jehonville, Gedinne and Chimay, and I believe also at Carole. Charly had suffered from cancer for a long time and sadly died on 20 November. Remembering the good times. RIP Charly.

Many good memories of so much laughter and all the racing stories. What a character. Our sincere condolences to Pam.

Such sad news. Our 'favourite Italian' - such a gentle man and a good friend to many in the paddocks of Europe. Remembering all the good times.

This may well annoy some people and I apologise in advance to Barry but the term female passenger is preferable to lady passenger.- please.

So sorry to hear this news. A brilliant guy, held in great affection by many. A lot of good memories at the Belgian circuits. His red dungarees were amazing.

So very sorry to hear this. A fantastic man who loved the sidecars. Some very happy memories of times spent with Antoine, and the family, in the bar(s) at Gedinne and camping in his back garden. Sincere condolences to Annie and all the Schmit family.
