Re: Frank Wrathall Outfit

I seem to remember it was Honda - the only manufacturer supporting the TT at the time - who protested Neil`s fuel injection and not until late in practice week - giving him no time to set it up with carbs and of course, he consequently retired. Guess who won both sidecar events! (they did the same ...

Re: From Paul Riley - 40yr maximum age for Newcomers at TT

Dave, do you have any thoughts that people over 40 doing the TT for the first time are less likely to return? That's what the 'guideline' was supposed to be about. The Bucket list entries (solos I can see it, having a solo now is either family or rebellion). I've not seen a full list of proper stat...

End of the World

After the 31st of December in the "dates" section there is an apparent abyss, I honestly believe this is an omen from above. (there again it's Saturday night and a few ciders may have some bearing on this) :?

Re: Moly chassis

I believe this is the bike Rob and Boyd crashed at May Hill in 95 practice (it's on the Duke video of that year) Moly fixed it at the cost of his own preparation, Rob won both races on it at around 107mph. I had it in 2005/06 did the FSRA rounds and the TT, I bought it from Rod Robinson darn sarf an...

Re: jacobs thundercat

I bought it from Rod Robinson in 2005, did TT in 2006 and sold it to Davy Quirk later that year, think he put an R6 in so not sure if that's what was used for the TT.

Re: jacobs thundercat

Is know Dave Quirk ran a Thundercat powered outfit - 100mph+ lap of the TT. I'm sure he'd be happy to share knowledge - let me know if you want his number. Not sure what chassis he had - but I'll ask. Twas my old bike, DMR chassis ex Rob Fisher proton bike that he crashed in 1995 practice at May Hi...
