It seems that the only consideration has been for the Lightweight class as they can now have a 4 lap race rather than a 3 lapper (probably at manufactuers / sponsors request), and due to the maximum number of laps per day rule they wouldn't have been able to have this race on the same day as the 6 ...

I had it for 8 years, sold it last year. Brilliant bike. I put 06 r6's in it and did tt in 12 and 13 (in 13 we finished both races at over 100).

I believe its going up for sale soon due to the guy having a bad back and also work preassures.
