RGM 1970 outfit, Now sold and been collected.

Up for sale is my classic RGM outfit, the chassis is 1970 and was built for a Norton commando engine but now has BSA A65 fitted and 10" mini wheels all round, the engine now fitted is a 650cc with standard rods, roller bearing conversion, Newby belt drive, race camshaft, a large valve head, close ...

Will be a very sad day for many, sorry I can't be there but will be thinking of Iain his family and friends, the man is a legend and will live on in our thoughts for many many years to come, the paddock has lost one of its best.

surprised to see how many have raced proper race bikes, my first race bike in 1986 was a TZ350G then a FZ 750, RS 125, EMC 250, RGV 250, TZ 250W, CBR 600, RS 250, GSXR 750. The rs was the best solo i ever raced but nothing beats being a passenger.

I never thought for one minute that I would ever do the TT but everyone told me " if you can do the southern 100 the TT is a lot easier" I didn't believe them and hated the idea of saying I would do it and then letting a driver down by saying i can’t,

Likewise if it wasn't for a conversation with Annette on face book ( and a beer or two) then encouragement from Helen Gibson i would never have thought about doing the TT, Thanks to both and my driver Nigel Smith and the team. :notworthy:

Just want to say a big thanks to everyone for the help and advice over the weekend, you all know who you are, and to the other newcomers for making it such a fantastic weekend, and a big thanks to Dave Clucas and his family.
