Re: Nick & Gerry Boret
Malcolm very interesting about Dave Bexleys chassis braking in I.O.M. weight would have been an issue as I believe Dave was quite a big guy? Added to this is the assumption that you had to run them stiff if they weren't run on anything apart from a billiard table which I don't believe the I.O.M is ...

Re: Dennis Keen’s 8 cylinder Konig
Remember seeing it at Mallory Park in 77 I think at the Race of the year. The second engine was in board of the main, on the passenger platform. turned round through 180 degrees so
the drive sprockets could be matted together. The 2nd engine then ran anti-clockwise, it sure was both a sight and a ...

In the intervening years its not known what it housed but possibly a T500/T750. John and Jack Woods did the Konig conversion to ...

Re: Not to put down the CRMC who are on the crest..
Bill, I wasnt trying to make a point, just stating facts that prove these iconic machines (not just Renwicks) were not only pushing the envelope but were also competitive on ocassions.
I believe they should be preserved and run in competitions when at all possible so we can all see how ground ...

Re: Nick & Gerry Boret
It appears that the Renwick in the cutaway drawing is the first one John built as a prototype with the disc in board. This was also used in the same period in formula one with fatal results when drive shafts failed. Don't think it was ever used in the production Renwicks the first of which was raced ...
