Re: Stan Mellish
Mark his Grandson use to help out.
Ian Guy knew him Really Really well.
He and Ron Higgs (Stuart Higgs Dad) use to do a lot of the organising at the TOMCC meetings.
Graham Beat Ron Higgs at Pool once, Ron was amazed by the trick shot that won it (1990 ish).
Stan was a really nice bloke.

Re: Restarting?
Answer 2
If all Bikes including Solos have to have a catch tray how does the new Ducati pass the regs as it has exhuasts where the catch tray should be, and should this Rule apply in all sessions, can't imagine Tommy Hill going down in 1st 5 minutes of practice session and not trying to get back to ...

Re: TIN CHASSIS
I have a Tin Windle or Winstanley, not sure which. Originally built for TZ750. Still in good nick, but some twat fitted a GPZ900. I believed it to be of the era "late 70's,early80's". Would be super to marry it up to aTZ???

Re: TIN CHASSIS
Now can we get back to the original point? Mike's proposal would require a rule change, so my questions are:
Does the proposal offer any significant performance advantage?
Would any rule changes be easy to enforce?
Does anybody object?

Re: TIN CHASSIS
Are people scared that if some one produces a Bike that does not use all round tube, i,e round tube with four corners, that if it were to be successful we would all be crying in our soup, and being a competitive bunch the person who built the original would have a queue right around the block from ...

Sidecars on now.. (Sunday). Whitham and Steve Plater doing commentary doing a good job, both taking the race seriously and showing it respect...Whitham also speaks as though he's knowledgeable.
Only way it could be better would be if they showed there was more than 6 Bikes in the Race
