500cc Grasstrack sidecars
I am trying to build interest in Stralia for these outfits. Being an FIM class it may be beneficial for teams to get involved. BUT, information is very hard to find, such as any engine characteristics preferred, even manufacturers of parts or clues about racing them. Its either secret or they cannot...

Re: Race meeting ideas
We have a similar issue in Australia. Some years ago I suggested we identify "original' and "replica" bikes with an O or an R on them.
It was not adopted.

Re: Race meeting ideas
I dont normally crack it when I ask for suggestions,BUT. I am aware that the Holy Grail of Naysayers is to be the first to predict failure. I happen to be aware of many reasons why Historic racing need an uplift. Thats why I asked for new ideas, not old comments. We need thinkers, people who may hav...

39 reads and no response.
I am pleading for ideas to share around the world.
I think we need to alter the way meetings are presented to spectators and I am sure racers may have some brilliant ias, please try them out.

Race meeting ideas
Records show that spectator numbers around the world have been dropping off for race meetings. I come from an Engineering / Science background and business back ground, and I believe it is possible to reverse that trend , by not accepting what others see as an unmovable truth. You just have to think...

Re: Lord of Lydden & Sidecar Burn Up 2018
I see you are running Classic and BEARS sidecars together.
What are the differences in lap times generally between them ?
I ask because I am trying to see if there is interest in Australia for a class simlar to BEARS sidecars
Thanks

leasing or lending agreements
Has anybody gone to the trouble to create some paperwork for an agreement to lease or lend an outfit for a period of time, in this case 14 months. Thanks in advance

Re: Potential for sidecars to go to Phillip Island in 2019
Its good to see some response. As stated earlier, Tim Reeves has been asked to liase between the groups in the UK and Max Hooper in Australia to find machines that we would never see in Australia. I did suggest the sort of machines that may work for us. At this stage its all exploring and if any of ...

Thanks, can you tell me about your machine?
Max and I are doing this leg work following discussions here with people interested in getting chairs to Phillip Island [PI]
If we find say, 6 keen, we can then move to the next stage of planning

Re: Potential for sidecars to go to Phillip Island in 2019
I have to ask, would there be any interest in this venture. I was told that 3 others sidecar teams in the UK had already asked to race there, but nothing has been organised yet. So is the interest real?
Thanks

Potential for sidecars to go to Phillip Island in 2019
I would like to start a conversation about the Island Classic and potential sidecar teams coming over. Max Hooper and myself have been banging on about sidecars for a long time, this year with Tim Reeves and the inclusion of the F2 outfits we had great racing from a spectators point of view. Max exp...
