Re: Any TT Teams interested in adopting me?
Shopshite are doing a special on bog rolls, by the sounds of it you might need a load if you lot are experimenting with the cooking lark and then putting the good old Manx bitter on top, do you want me to get some in for you? I will leave the pallett at the entrance to the scrutineering bay ...

Re: I hear the newcomers weekend went well, any news?
A big thanks should go out to Helen who puts in so much of her time to organize all of this.
Next bit not for Helen so please look away thank you
On the laps the van definitely performed better when Dips decided to put the traction control off.
You can read again Hx
Both him (Dips) and Stu ...

Helen puts in a lot of time for these guys and I am sure every single one of them will use the invaluable knowladge they gained that weekend.
Well done Helen, and thanks to the Motorsports team for helping with odds and ends, they don't get a lot of credit, mostly people barating them for a tough ...

National Motorcycle Museum trip
Hi Guys just thought I would share a couple of pcs from the NMM that I went to visit recently. I loved the solo machines but they had tucked away all the decent sidecars yet again at the back... I made this point to one of the staff and got the reply of 'well people only really come here for the ...

Re: Mr Dunlop!
I would have thought this would have only worked if MD didn't race solo's. I would hate for him to take a totally wrong line for a sidecar after finishing a solo practice. WE all know how automatic it can be at times, this has to be a risk. As much as I would love to see it I just don't think you ...

Re: Best TT Memories
I can just about remeber being a wee nipper and my dad marshalling at the bottom of Hilberry. I never thought or any of them would ever get around that corner, I kept shouting at Dad 'Dad Dad did you see that!!!', after a while it must have got tiresome and he gave me 'The Look'. I kept quiet but ...

Re: Kneeler outfits
I definately know now that Eric Oliver had a kneeler outfit in 1954 a Norton Watsonian outfit and it definately is a kneeler. In fact he won the TT on it with Les Nutt in the chair. About the Norton kneeler machine that Richard showed us kindly also won the Senior TT with Ray Amm riding it. I think ...

Re: Kneeler outfits
I also found a picture of a guy called Owen. E Greenwood who had what they called an 'ultra-low' Triumph outfit in 1958, he rode that year with a guy called T Fairborther. After checking my data base I found that his passneger the year before that was someone called E. Quilibrium, that was his only ...

Re: Kneeler outfits
I knew you boys would know. But, and it is a very small but, I wonder why the others didn't really follow suit until the sitere 50's and early 60's. I thought Mr Dibben may have had a punt at this one lol as there are pics of him still on the sitters in 1953 at a world championship round. Think that ...
