Re: Glastonbury!

Dan, if it was the Steam Packet running it I think it would be more than £200.

The last I heard was the docking trials at Hollyhead may not go ahead due to the fuel pump issue.

Re: Ben my Chree

The 'Ben' has returned to her duties. The latest report is there's a problem with her fuel pump, (it won't be an SU type of pump, will it?).

Ben my Chree

Recently out of dock after it's 'annual service', the Ben is due back into dock next Tuesday 17th to investigate vibration in one of its' propellers. It should be in for one night only. Watch this space.

Re: Stupidity and The Steam Packet Co;

The Arrow has been brought into service to carry freight to make room on the Ben - my - Chree for more passengers and vehicles. The damage to the fast craft has to be assessed by a specialist team to decide if the repairs can be carried out here on the Island or if it has to go into dry dock.

Re: Stupidity and The Steam Packet Co;

The fast craft is badly damaged and will not be sailing for some time, certainly not over Easter. I'll be surprised if it's ready for TT fortnight. There is a vessel on its' way to the Island to substitute for the fast craft.

Re: Tt 2016 schedule changes

I don't think the sidecars are wanted by the organisers. Just think how much easier it would be to run the TT without the sidecars over the same time period, much more options to re arrange due to weather. Also, consultation and negotiation are two different words with completely different meanings,...

Highest winds for June recorded at Ronaldsway Airport at 65 MPH yesterday. Bushy's tent was damaged and was evacuated and then CLOSED!!! Should be repaired and reopened today. Woo hoo, as Homer would say.
