Re: Peter Michael Hillaby

RIP Peter,

I guess i have this man to thank for a lot. He gave my Mum (Christine) her first job as his secretary. She met my dad (Barry) through the job, and the rest is history i guess. Only met him a few times but was always helpful to us!

Thanks

Billbo wrote: Mon Nov 18, 2019 8:52 pm So D F Brindley, who rode the TT in 1959 to 1962, was in fact Fred Brindley. Motorcyclists sometimes know people from a different name to family names!
That is correct yes.

He would of ridden again at the TT but got Pneumonia so Dave Saville rode the bike instead of passengering for my grandad.

I assume you are taking the mickey ? I'm not seeint at all what you're talking about ?
Just a little comparison between the 2019 and 2020 proposed schedule (keeping in mind, roads open at 1800 for the afternoon and 2100 for the evening, last session closed before )

Re: 2020 proposed TT schedule

Looks like a mega Schedule!! Can't wait. 1 Extra practice, 2 days of Practice are in the day time, only 4 late nights instead of 5.

What more could you want (apart from obvious ridiculous and unfeasible answers) ?

Oliver Brindley (Son Of Derek)

Hi All,

A bit of sad news at the moment, Oliver Brindley (Son of Derek Brindley Jnr) has had a really bad crash while racing in the AMA Flat Track Championship. He is still in intensive care, The below explains it a little and would be great to have some support from the Sidecar world.
