Both are OK - a bit bashed and bruised but all on the mend.

Re: CRMC Brands Hatch 7/8 May

After a long pause to delay with an on track solo incident the final sidecar race was red flagged due to an outfit dropped in a dangerous position - then the race was abandoned as it was so late

Re: Daytona sidecar boots wanted

Good luck - used ones are as rare as hens teeth.

You can wait - but if needed this guy is good and pretty much the only person I know to get them off https://www.sidecarshop.co.uk/Daytona-sidecar-boots Brexit means you'll get hit with VAT as well now.

Re: Heavy steering ?

Does the front ever under steer or wash out? If not, then get your passenger to sit further back so less weight on the front - only getting them to move forward if you get under steer.

Re: Heavy steering ?

Take the steering damper off for sure. It should be fine without one.

And as said above, check the trail. And if you can, move the chair/sidecar wheel backwards (takes weight off the front).

Re: chimay

Nope - France and Belgium are on the amber list. So on your return you need to self isolate for 10 days as well as booking and paying for covid tests.

Re: Van depreciation for tax purposes

Sole trader or via a limited company? From sole trader stuff I remember it can get a bit tricky with vehicle stuff as it can also relate to capital allowances (i.e. other kit/equipment you might have bought and be writing off/depreciating against costs/profits). And if you've still got the same van ...
