Re: Can you help with the History of this outfit???

Hi Whiteroseman, My bike had a 16" front wheel with Twin Discs, The A65 Motor was removed just before I got it. I think the "pods" were added by the previous owner to aide Engine cooling. My chassis still has the removable top frame rail as well. Do you have any photos of your bike when you raced it ...

Re: Can you help with the History of this outfit???

Belated updates as promised. I've been lucky enough via the site to of been put in touch with Malc Barlow who owned my Outfit prior to 1990. Malc has very kindly provided me with a few snaps and a race program in which the outfit was entered.

Re: Classic racing (not a CRMC thread!)

My personal view is to have Originals and Replicas in the same race but in two separate classes

I don't think it would be easy to police no matter what rules were made, a large majority of "Classics" that are raced are usually less than 5 years old and are full of TZ/HRC /Factory race kit/1 off ...

Re: Can you help with the History of this outfit???

No real news for the last few days, I've started to get the chair stripped and have been juggling with 165/70/10 mini tyres and clearance on the frame rails.

If all goes to plan I'm hoping to put the Outfit on display at the Jurby Festival of Speed during the MGP.

I'll update later in the week ...

Re: Can you help with the History of this outfit???

Howard thank you for you input, your picture opens another chapter in the History of these bikes as the Number 10 machine in the pictures sports a motorcycle Sidecar wheel that is similar in diameter to the front wheel of 16"

Firstly it proves that they were Racing in 1970 which I would guess ...

Re: Can you help with the History of this outfit???

Thanks again John, those photo's are fantastic, the black and white Photo's front Brake set up and wheel is Identical to mine along with the mudguard mounts and frame tubes which pretty much confirms mine bike as one of the early ones from 71/2

The Sidecar wheel on your outfit is in a totally ...
