Re: exhaust wrap

When a friend of mine made me a set of Chambers for my outfit, you may have heard of him, Peter Gibson. He told me how I could change the way the Chambers worked? And it involves exhaust rap which I have used with no trouble. To move the power band you need to make the length of of the body longer ...

Re: Yokohama tyres the facts / part 2

When I started to use yoko's a few years ago the cost was a big consideration, Im going back a few years when yoko's were first used in the CRMC the cost of a yoko was £33.00 and the cost of a Dunlop cr65 was £115.00 and they lasted a lot longer

Re: Yokohama tyres the facts / part 2

The tyre looks on a narrow rim or not on a rim. Plus you cannot see were the rule is on the tyre, as I said the rim size will make a big difference, they are just to wide. Also as the tyre wears down the tread on the road will increase, They maybe just a small bit bigger but they are outside the ...

Re: yokohama tyres

Hi Eddy, No don't know, but I think it the rim size will make a big difference. If it is on a 6 inch the the tread on the road will be less because the tread will not be flat to the ground, but when the tyre is stressed it will pull this onto the ground. iF its on a rim that stretches the walls of ...

Re: Quiet???

I have a plan, a cunning plan, if I lower the exhaust port and vent it through the side of the piston and then put a spark plug in the crank case with a 4 valve head on the top, I will have a one stroke engine. now were's Ian

Re: Quiet???

If I can keep the look of the engine so you cannot see the changes, can I use a 4 valve head on my outfit, because I feel I am missing out and lack an advantage. I think with a bit hammering and welding I think I could make it work?
