Hi All,
Looking at either a Haltec or Motec ECU to fit on a 2008 R1 engine (fly by wire throttle bodies) in a long LCR.
Just wanted to know if anyone has used Haltec and have they had any issues.
I heard a rumour that they are no good in higher rpm 🤷♂️
I spoke to Haltec and they said it would be ...

Re: TT Tyres and fuel
Thanks Dave, that gives me a bit of an idea around the cost for the fortnight.

TT Tyres and fuel
Just wanted to know how many sets of tyres teams usually use for the TT fortnight.
Also typically how much fuel also.
Cheers

Re: Right Side Sidecars
Thanks for the insight, it makes sense now given that most UK circuits are clockwise direction.
I had thought that you might still see the odd one racing in Europe(not sure of the circuit direction) but assuming the majority of sidecars would be sold in the UK, it stands to reason that LCR, Seymaz ...

Right Side Sidecars
Hi All,
I recently saw a few photos from the 80’s and there seemed to be quite a few sidecars with the platform on the right hand side. I was just wondering why we don’t see these made or racing anymore, were they banned or did they simply fall out of favour with riders/passengers?
Further to that ...

Re: From Paul Riley - 40yr maximum age for Newcomers at TT
Does anyone have any idea under what grounds an exception would be granted on this rule and has anyone challenged the legality of this?

Re: Feet forward sidecar
Thanks for posting the great photos, it's nice to see something a little different. It doesn't look like there's as much room in it as I'd imagined. If as Steve Webster said it doesn't handle as good as a standard LCR and it was ineligible for points, then it begs the question why build it?. I guess ...

Re: Feet forward sidecar
That's a shame,It would be an interesting historical sidecar if it still existed. Something along the lines of what Biland used to run. Granted not the same, but still unique in it's own right.
It's nice to see sidecars like that which are a little different to your run of the mill long or short bike.

Re: Feet forward sidecar
That's it! Would you have any pics with the bodywork off. I'm interested to see how he actually fit in there. Also do you know what happened to it, does it still exists in that layout or was it converted back to a kneeler?

Feet forward sidecar
Hi Guys, I'm wanting to find out some information on a feet forward sidecar that was raced in the world championships possibly in the 90's/2000's not sure exactly. I believe it was a modified Windle and was allowed to race but not eligible for points. Does anyone remember this outfit and who rode it ...

I can't see Colin Buckley from NZ listed to ride for
Carl Cox. Anyone know if this is still happening?
