With regard to the snapped clutch cable, I recall Fred Brindley saying someone asked him if he'd given Dave his signal at Ramsey Hairpin. Fred replied that he didn't need a signal as he was going so slow out of the corner that he'd had time to have a conversation with him!

It's definitely Stu Collins on the Suzuki from 1977. I think Mac used the TZ outfit for the first half of the season (including the TT where he & Stu won) whilst he was waiting for delivery of the RG500 engine for the new chassis. As Geoff says, the Suzuki wasn't really a success in the outfit and ...

The original outfit dated from about 1992 with a TZ250 engine in it. Don't think it was raced much until the mid / late 90's though when it's capacity was increased to 350 to stand more chance against the 600's. I think a guy from Oxfordshire called Tony Hewitt still has this bike and races it ...

Mick Haith's bike is the Derbyshire that Malc Barlow ran in 1990 so probably 1989?
