Re: End of UK Motorsport.?

A headline grabbing statement reacting to the unintended consequences of legislation... perhaps!

A very informative piece on this here: https://motomatters.com/analysis/2016/1 ... rt_in.html

Fingers crossed that common sense prevails

Re: Rob Thompson former sidecar racer

Very sorry to read of Rob’s passing, having raced closely with Rob, he will be remembered for being a highly competitive racer who always raced hard and fair. Thoughts are with Rob’s family and friends.

Re: 87 British GP in full

Brilliant!

I had this on VHS for years... probably still do somewhere.

The first ever GP at Donington with live Sunday Grandstand coverage (good excuse for Steve Rider to dig out the ear defenders). All 5 classes shown in their entirity, full grids in every class. A halcyon era.

Re: 1992 GP

This is from 1991. The only year that Alain Michel rode with the No. 1 plate as World Champion and this race was the only GP win of Ralph Bohnhorst and Bruno Hiller.
