Re: Roger Body retiring from the racing game..
Roger has done a great amount for the sport, and we should all be thankful to him. Whilst I know this would never happen for various reasons - Assuming that the British F1 championship no longer runs alongside the BSB rounds, it would seem to be prime opportunity to amalgamate the British F2, and Br...

Re: 2021 TT Regs are out for consideration! - closing date for responses to iomttraces@gov.im is 25/09/2020
Agreed, the TT isn't the place to be testing a chassis/engine. Some advanced notice of the change would allow other teams to start their development, so at least there is a level playing field. I'm not against change, but like the 675, it isn't an F2, or an F1, thus only eligible for 'open class' ra...

Re: K7 600, dropping a cylinder?
All things are currently pointing towards the power commander.
Spoken with Dynojet today, and the unit is going over to them and they're going to install a different firmware version that should solve it.

Re: K7 600, dropping a cylinder?
As we'd turned the engine off, the fault code had cleared itself when we turned the ignition back on. We tried the connection we'd repaired, as up until then it was right. Ste's thinking it's mechanical, engine will turn over but slower than it should. New engine going in, connect it up and see if i...

K7 600, dropping a cylinder?
Posting on behalf of Ste. At Donington over the weekend, bike was running sweet, until we over cooked it going into Copice, and beached it in the gravel on the first lap of qualifying  Outfit recovered, and back in the paddock, all the gravel was cleared. Came to start the motor, to find she w...

Re: Aintree meetings cancelled
Our local circuit, so been keeping an eye on it. I'm biting my tongue at some of the responses on their social media, without knowing the facts we can't comment... but signing a disclaimer doesn't give a club free reign to do what they please, and be entirely free of any responsibility. Again not im...

Re: Novice female passenger
Welcome Charlotte! I can thoroughly recommend the BEARS Sidecars as a great starting point. They lack the shear speed and power of an F2, their handling is interesting, I find them much more physical to passenger, it's a friendly welcoming paddock, lots of advice, most races are 2 day events so you ...

Re: Complete novice, looking to have a go.
If you've the gear already then a licence may be the best option. I heard there's taxi rides at Brands Hatch, in October with Bemsee. Not sure if there will be any at the bash at Cadwell, there was at the revival meeting. Have a chat with people in the Paddock, most are happy to talk and give you ad...

Re: Complete novice, looking to have a go.
The important question is do you have your ACU licence? It's a bit of a catch 22, but there are ways to get on an outfit. Without a licence, the easiest way to get on an outfit, is to do a taxi ride... I believe they are doing them at Brands Hatch. Pay your money, get a few laps in, you're not reall...

Re: Passenger seeking team mate
That was down to your words of wisdom Steve, couldn't believe the difference, we even stayed on the black stuff felt much less chaotic than race 1.
Ste I have sent you a PM sounds good to me.
Cheers Claire, it's even more fun than I imagined, Steve saw the size of my grin after race 2.
