Start line incidents happen with push and clutch starts. The only way to make it safer is a lot of flag marshals ready with yellows but that's not always practicable unfortunately.

Calm down Richard,

Push Starts ...
We would push start or clutch start ... Dont now give a toss which ever way we start....
It was a general opinion round the CRMC paddock that was stopping teams racing with the club, but it didnt work as the club found out this season...
Put it back to push starts...... We would be happy either way...

As you well know we (Bludge and myself) put everything into promoting the CRMC during 2006 and supported it all the way. Right up to Race of the Year where we could not finish any higher or lower than 3rd in the championship... It cost us around £400 for the weekend to SUPPORT the club when we could have raced Brands Hatch 1 minutes drive from my home for nothing on the same weekend......

The AGM for me and Bludge last year was a complete and total waste of time, effort and diesel money even though we put forward all our nine proposals on time etc to the correct commitee members... We travelled to Daventry and basically got told to sit down and shut up

Hence us not attending this years and me not joining the club.
Yes .... I did sugest we had 350's and Post Classics but it went unheard at the AGM... Didnt even get a minutes time?????

Seems funny now that the club is scratching for sidecar entries because so many teams have got cheesed off with the way things were/have been this season.
As the rule looks now to be HOPEFULLY changed and to allow a wider range of outfits... Bring it on and the CRMC will have I am sure a decent Sidecar grid for a change.

Think you need to take a deep breath Richard & chill a bit. Everyone wants to see full grids again & everyone wants "affordable" entry fees. Plus everyone want's competition, that's what were there for, to beat the guy in front.
You seem determined to argue with everyone & everything. You may be sick of this, that & the other but things are moving so forget the past & look forward. There's a very good chance I'll be racing against you next year if i get to keep my bike :D

Shouldn't that be "thank you please" like Colin Crompton at the Wheeltappers?

I.m not up tight but I think I needed to say a few things after taking it for so long.the real reason there are no classic outfits out there is because when they come up for sale they are sold abroad, I know of another four that were sold this week, very few are sold in this country so the stock in this country keeps going down. that is the main reason

That's always happened Richard. I took my Windle down to Harwich in 1976 to stick it on the ferry going to Holland. Entry fees is the killer. I know circuit owners are putting prices up but if you get full grids etc etc.
there are over 120 outfits elligable to race Post classic ( Forgotten Era ) how come you get maybe only 5 out at any meeting?? it's entry costs which are killing racing, get the grids up, get the costs down.
