The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.

But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.

not at all Gordon. I'm glad we got the 600 but i'd still like to ride a 350 given the chance. I recon i could go a lot quicker now.

Sorry - not for sale yet - was just pulling Mr Chandler's leg :D
I am however hoping to build a new chassis - I built the jig for it about 15 years ago - but then packed up for many years - but kept the bike, jig, and everything else - bought a tig unit a couple of years back - so looking to give it something to do... :D
If it happens - there may be a Shelbourne for sale - if you're at Cadwell in a couple of weeks - come and have a natter - be warned though - I'm quite deaf - so you'd need to be in "good voice"

Did Dave Smith have a 350 Ireson - late 80s / early 90s ? - if I remember correctly there was a Dave Smith around then that won the "Clubmans" championship ? - could it be the same man - or is my memory failing me ? - anyone ?

Do you mean the ACU Clubmans, Marlboro jobby? That would be Dave Smith of the smith brothers, one of which moved to Spain; him and his brother were registered on here but not seen them on in a while. They were more Southern based when they were racing.
