Re: Southern100 2010
Doug n me are coming to race. can't wait.
I've passengered it in 86 (yes 24 years ago) but not driven it. Doug's not done it but been for the last couple of years so knows his way round.
I also think we have about 30 friends and family coming to support us and get drunk.
Helen, where can I get some queenies from when i get there? also, where is the best butcher for mutton? got to keep the army fed
jc.

The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained by sudden flight.
But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.

Best butcher in the Isle of Man is Radcliffe's in Castletown , and not far from there is Paddy's fish shop and he'll be able to fix you up with Queenies. For a meal with queenies in, the Viking is good (the beer is better across the yard in the Sidings!). Just along from the pitlane is a farm where they sell eggs and potatoes etc. You can eat like kings here!

Re: Southern100 2010
Just been put on 28hr weeks at work H, might not be able to make it, might be able to book the 1.5 days a week off unpaid all for the same time in July to come over, trouble is I'll still be 'harumph a month minimum worse off for now til whenever we get some work in.
Will see if I can fill some of the harumph days form now til then with earning money instead. Just paid for new hosting on here for 2 years
so at least that's covered
