Re: CRMC Snetterton - Race of the Year 11-12 October
that´s strange.
On your entry list Bill Hodgkins is listed in the Period 1 category, while on the CRMC website his outfit is shown as an example of Period 2, see here:
http://www.crmc.co.uk/sidecar.htm
So he must have a new outfit?

Re: CRMC Snetterton - Race of the Year 11-12 October
Sorry John, my fault - I haven't updated the CRMC photos.
At the AGM last year the classes were modified:-
Period 1 is now 750cc, standard bore and stroke, any wheel size.
Period 2 is 750cc short stroke motors and multis e.g. Honda, and Triumph Triple.
Period 3 no change.
This was done to protect the BSAs and Nortons from the modern short stroke motors.
So Bill is in the correct class on his standard stroke 750 Norton.

Modern? You mean we can have modern engines? Now what did I do with that GSX-R 750 engine?
