BMCRC F1 & F2 Sidecar Championships 2016 - Update on Series sponsorship

BMCRC announces that the sponsor group, RKBF1 has again looked to support the Club level activity of Sidecars at Bemsee. Part of a package that continues to promote the top-end of the F1 branch of the sport in the Uk through the British F1 Championship at BSB. Over the last 4 years the strategy has sought to make Sidecar Teams development at Club level more affordable – with the hope that their development reaches the point where they can try their hand at the top British Championship level. This is now starting to show results with top crews that came from the Bemsee sidecar paddock now getting podium finishes at BSB and more trying their hand during the season as Wild Card entrants. None more so than Series winner in 2015, Ricky Stevens & Ryan Charlwood.

The Club is delighted to announce that Club entry fees will again receive a subsidy from RKBF1 that will enable F1’s to compete for £170 at each round and F2’s at £230*

(*some rounds will vary slightly on these rates)

This investment amounts to over £10,000 all of which is passed back to teams through discounted Entry Fees.

Whilst the subsidy has been reduced each year over the last 4 years, these fees still represent great value to teams with a superb set of circuits to be visited over the course of the 8-round 2016 BMCRC Championship Series.

Bemsee sidecars will miss the first Brands round and Oulton but go to all other rounds in 2016

BEMSEE are a great club without the RKB F1 help. That just makes it better. Pity theres no Oulton , but the Cadwell meeting will be good.
