This outfit was originally built in 1970 and was developed by the previous owner over a ten year period. It was completely restored by MTS classics in 2013 and raced sucessfully at CRMC and BHR meetings. The best results to date are second place in the BHR unlimited championship in years 2014 and 2015, winner of over 50s championship in 2014, twice awarded best presented outfit and winner of the BHR four cylinder award in 2015. Due to its unusual design this outfit always forms a crowd of enthusiasts at race meetings.
The specifications are as follows:
All alloyT100 motors with Northon atlas crankshafts giving a total of 1246cc
Haygon cylinder liners with Triumph Bandit pistons
Spitfire cam profiles, Heads gas flowed by Pipers with ultra lightweight valves and springs fitted by Dave Deggers of Dresda fame, surefire electronic ignition systems, dry all metal commondo hydraulic clutch, quoife 5 speed gearbox with high ratio first gear, lockeed brakes all round and a large selection of spares.
