Hallo,

Ian, the gist of the posts are:

Eckart's post says that the outfit used to be in his possession around 2013.

Marco's post says that he bought the outfit from a woman from north of Hamburg whose (ex)husband owned it but he had died at the beginning of the year (presumably 2017). He had planned to use it but after he died there was no-one who knew anything about it. Marco says he knows nothing about sidecars as he is from the solo scene and (I think, but could be wrong) that he has been driving sidecars (or maybe not) for two years since having an accident on a road bike and he wants to use this bike in the VFV (Veteran Vehicle Association, or something similar). Marco would be glad to get any information about the outfit and asks Eckart to maybe give him a call sometime.

Marco and Eckart, please forgive me if I have got it wrong, blame Google not me ;)
Proud and honoured to be a member of Team Past It.

Thanks for the translation Dan :notworthy:

Hi Marco, I can't help you on who built the outfit, but I'd say at sometime in it's life it was an Open Class bike that was converted to F2 specifications.
The wheel base looks a bit long for F2 spec.
The wheels & discs were made by Terry Windle of Windle Engineering here in the UK.
If the outfit was an Open Class convert I'd say the original chassis dates back to the late 1970's.
The frame has had a lot of tube work carried out from the original chassis.
I don't recognise the front forks I'm afraid.

Hope this is of some help to you?

Can you post a pic of the chassis from the sidecar side please?

It's a bit of a long shot but that looks quite similar to an outfit Steve Sinnott built. I'll ask Karl if he knows.
So how long have I had these voices in my head, I hear you ask?

Karl thinks it is Steve Sinnott's old bike. Mostly Windle but has been hacked about a bit.
