An update from Fiona

Hello lovely 🌎just arrived back in land of living = Day 1 of recovery from broken neck operation 2 weeks ago to remove, put a cage in and regrow C6 which was completely broken. Looking to see what they are going to do with dislocated arm next.

been told that I'll be in hospital somewhere for another 4 weeks.
So pleased and relieved for dad who broke his femur and has had it operated on, he was discharged a day ago. He's doing so well 🤞

We were doing so well on the opening lap at the TT & were on for a PB looking at the sector timings on lap 1. We felt good till dad & i departed company with the bike at about 130mph. Game over 😟

😊Thank you for all the well wishes. They mean the world to us & give us strength. We'll be fighting fit sooner than you think ☄

If you are on twitter you can send your wishes to @Cumbria_Express

So happy it's not more serious and that you are in position to tell all that   :!:

I wish you a good convalescence, both of you .

It is a good job Tony is young enough and fit enough to overcome his injuries  and I am sure John will be waiting on Fiona hand and foot when she gets home

Get well soon you two .........I mean Fiona and Tony John, not you ;)

P.S I know how frustrating it is to be on a PB but not finish the lap Fiona, that is what happened to us in 2007  but we were going a bit slower than you when we crashed, thankfully :spin:

All the best to you and your dad, been a couple of years since I was to the TT but great memories of seeing you and also great memories of Laguna Seca many years ago. Heal fast and well.

So pleased to hear such a positive mind set. I, and so many others are waiting expectantly to see both of you on track. Never give up , never give in.Get well quickly... You are such role models.
