Track day at Cadwell in September - MSV won't do it

I think I must have posted on Facebook about the possibility of taxi rides on the evening of Thursday 14th September, and several people said they would be willing to support it - I can remember Andy Wilby and Andy Thomas. Because it's Facebook, I can't find the post, but anyway this is an update to say that the organiser of the track day, Russell Brown, has been unable to persuade MSV to allow taxi rides as part of the track day set up.

They require him to provide full race day marshal and paramedic cover, which is out of the question financially. He has asked me if I know of any situation where MSV have allowed a sidecar session at a track day. I don't, and I suspect it has never happened, but if anyone sees this post, and might be able to assist in getting permission, please email marianne@trailrides-wales.com and I will put you in touch with Russell.

As Russell says: it's a shame, as it would have added something extra to the event.
