Phil Croft
Many of the sidecar world will be aware that Phil Croft has passed away, after fighting cancer for a year.
He first raced a solo in the mid 70's on a 350cc Yamaha, after a breaking a collarbone at Snetterton he decided to move to three wheels. Like many sidecar drivers of that time, he built his own outfit (750 Suzuki) his first race was at Snetterton late 1979 and raced every season until 2018.
Hi funeral is Friday 11th October 2019 at Cambridge Crematorium, followed by light refreshments at The Black Horse, Dry Drayton CB23 8DA.
Attached are a couple of pictures from the early days.

Re: Phil Croft
So sorry to hear this. We spent a lot of time with him in the paddocks, in the bars, and on the journeys back and forth across the Channel. A really nice guy. RIP.

Re: Phil Croft
It’s been just over a year since Phil passed away, to say there was a huge amount of racing bits & pieces is an understatement. Including many photos. A few are attached.
Phil is number 11 in both pictures, the others are taken at Fowlmere airfield.

Re: Phil Croft
Thanks for your reply & posting the picture.
I know how much Phil enjoyed his trips to Europe, it wasn't just the racing but friends he made over the years meant so much to him.
Regards
Steve
