I've just ordered all of the bits for a complete engine rebuild from Reg. Shells, gaskets, seals, piston rings, valve springs, timing chain, wills rings and big end bolts came to just over £400. The engine should last a full season for that (fingers crossed).

To have an Imp engine built to the spec of the one we ran last year would be about 6 and a half grand........so 7 for that one's probably not far off of the mark.

Very similar to Ed's I would imagine, although I'm pretty sure his isn't dry sumped though.

I've already got 2 engines...........and more to the point, Shelli won't sign off on it!
