I guess there's delays with getting stuff from suppliers etc from time to time. Don't think anyone's balming anyone.. it's just the way things go. Traa di Lyooar!

I can understand how you feel Michael  but try not to worry too much about the starting number, you got an entry and that is something to be thankful for after the passenger problems you had last year :twak: . At least you have a decent passenger (I can't believe I just said that  ) this year and will just have to work hard on the times in an attempt to show that you deserve a better starting position......and Kevin will just have to learn the way round double quick  . at least with his accent you won't realise if he is shouting for you to slow down . You can do it

:offtopic: When are all the other start numbers going to be released, it seems people are still waiting for official notification [zzzz.gif]

Like Dan says Mick.
You've got a good passenger, so no worries there.
Go out and just concentrate on the driving.
Should you post good times I'm sure you will be moved up in starting position.
Above all enjoy the experience.
Just by starting a TT your doing more than most people will ever do.
Dan and I will do all we can to help, not a lot I know, but the thoughts there!
All the best mate.
See you in the paddock.

lets all moan about start numbers , [blah.gif] [blah.gif] [blah.gif] ,youre lucky theres only 56,can you imagine starting at number 80!!!!!!!,years ago if you was number 70 in your first year you were made up to get an entry,if you got number 56 the following you'd be running around clicking your heels,at least you havent got the worry of leaving the start line as the leaders were catching, you get your number on merit, just enjoy and be safe.

After a disasterous 1st year (Those brilliant two strokes that wouldnt finish a lap) my old man got number 87 in 1989. After qualifying in the top 10 he got moved up to 17 and finished 6th!! ;) ;)

My Uncle Ian finished 6th in his first TT from 35!!

sidecarf11 wrote::shock: my god is there only 56 entries 55 if you take out the birchalls ! a bit different to 80? in 2000 think that is about right was a long time ago :? surely someone could of provided a outfit for the birchalls to do the TT? or is it just an excuse ? :?:

No it's not an "excuse" it's a time thing.Ben has been offered my Ireson to ride but with other commitments and some minor alterations to make it has not been possible to do in time. The TT isn't the kind of place to jump on a strange outfit and go hell for leather at without getting comfy and familiar with the bike youre gonna ride.
