To say I am proud of you is a major understatement Annette :notworthy: and it is a pity your TT had to end like it did  . We tried to get things sorted and we thought we had but in the end it didn't happen as it should have done  . The pity is you were so much more comfortable when the screen had been fitted and the handle moved and you were more than capable of lapping a bit faster than you already had. What a pity that the offer of a ride with another driver came just too late to be accepted by the organisers, you would more than likely have gained that coveted finishers medal. There are not many newcomers lap at the speeds you did on their first three laps, and from a standing start too, so you have nothing to reproach yourself about. I know one thing, you were back to your normal cheerful self once you decided to call it a day..... and it was NOT the TT itself that you called a day on. I know Robin is pleased you gave up, it means he gets his evening meal at a more reasonable time now :D xxxxxxxxxxxx

You didnt give up Annette, you acknowleged when something wasnt right.... and had the balls to say it. Absolute total 150% respect to you. When a dream becomes a nightmare its time to let it go, and be proud of the fact that you followed that dream. Im sure you have no regrets, you damn well shouldnt have because you had the guts to try out your dream.

With all our love
Annie, Jon and Big big big kisses from toby xxx

Don`t know you, but fantastic effort - some achievment for your first time, those speeds. Noone can take away that memory of the first time down Bray Hill, VERY few people even get the chance to feel that! You`re now eligible for membership of the most exclusive club there is - TTRA!
It takes a brave and very intelligent person to get off, especially at an event that takes so much effort and organising to get to; so easy to feel you must stay the course, but EXACTLY the event you mustn`t. You both need to be totally confident of each others competance - not the place to be thinking about your partner`s frame of mind, you both need to be able to forget about the other and concentrate on your own job.
Well done again, see you there next year I hope!

I can't help but admire any female who chooses to become a S/C passenger at any level, simply due to the testing nature of the job......But if you are not happy then you have done the best thing and said so.....There is nowt wrong with that...

You should be very proud of your self to have done 3 qualifying laps at almost 100MPH ,,,,,,some of us old gits on here never got anywhere near that sort of speed on the mountain course....when we were doing it.

Regards,

Fritz,,,,,,,,,

I second that Annette. You are a star and a braver woman then me. You hold your head high.

Well done missus and here's hoping if you do decide to do it again you get the 100.
