I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.

I particularly like the razor sharp fairing nose, honed to a perfect edge and carefully set at knee height, for removing any fallen riders/passengers from his path
... not that too many would be in front of him
...
