I definately know now that Eric Oliver had a kneeler outfit in 1954 a Norton Watsonian outfit and it definately is a kneeler. In fact he won the TT on it with Les Nutt in the chair. About the Norton kneeler machine that Richard showed us kindly also won the Senior TT with Ray Amm riding it. I think this was also in 1953 but couldn't be sure on that. Looks like they were experimenting at this early stage. Wonder if this is where the powerful BMW Germans got the idea?
