Yes Geoff you are correct.
Another problem is the trigger for the cam position sensor on the Honda, this wont work on a
Motec system without modification. So no Motec on Hondas. :roll: :roll:
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.

You're correct Eddy, it's a major problem when you have someone making the rules who knows nothing about what they are ruling on.

you could look at it as the engine mannagment is free, the cam sensor is only used for engine mannagment and there for free to be modified!

or that its part of the timing and tensioning, as that's how the engine determines the way the cams are set to find out what cycle the engine is on.

but what about the EGR? do we have to run the the read valves in the top of the head that vent into the airbox?

I can tell by the :lol: :lol: that I'm wrong so I'm not going to waste my money.
Has the Motec been modified to allow the standard part?

Kew, motec can be setup to run the standard cam/crank patten, i have no idea why anyone would mod it so there is 12ref pulse's and 1 sync pulse. but apprentely thats what some do!
