I remember a driver from the Didcot area called Dave Houghton in the sixties - the outfit had a Triumph engine. I think the passenger was R. Abbott. It had an insignia on the fairing of a jouster on horseback. Do you remember that, John?

Hi RP, thanks for your reply, the two names i'm currently trying to track are Matthew Mason from the Didcot area and Malc Barlow who I think owned the outfit in the 80's..

If it's the same Malcolm Barlow, he is Nigel Barlow's father (from the Doncaster area). Nigel currently passengers for Tony Thirkell, and is registered on here as "sidecarf2" if you want to try a private message.

Dave Hemsworth and Jim Johnson did the 1974 TT on a Tri-Shark BSA but this was not a Todd Chassis,it was a WEC built by Bill Cooper of Derby.Incidentally Jim Johnson was Roger Marshall's passenger when he first started racing as a sidecar driver.
