I second that Phil, thanks for inviting me and the go on the BEARS outfit. Certainly an interesting experience  and a very good way of getting into sidecar racing without spending megabucks :)
Lastly thanks to Claire for getting on with me on John Potts classic BMW for a session  Certainly got the blood flowing

Mike, it was a pleasure and an honour to get to do some laps with you, it certainly taught me a lot and upped my performance. I'm now trawling Youtube for some more on-board S100 laps for my homework.

Many, many thanks go to David Sykes, SlowPhil, Tony Bannister, Adam Pope and John Lorriman for organising the day, getting the formalities passed by the committee and especially for lending their bikes and their expertise, the day was a huge success and great fun.

Hi
I just wanted to say thank you for those involved at Mallory for the BEARS open day. I really enjoyed talking to Steve, Tony and Stan true gentleman.

A special thank you to Tony for taking me around on his big wheeler, it was my first time on this breed of machine and two days later I still have a massive smile on my face.

I wish you all the very best and a enjoyable season ahead.

Julie
New bit on the side.

Yes, many thanks to Phil and John for allowing me out on their sidecars and Dave for organising it. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and it has definitely got me thinking! I spent some time chatting with Stan, Steve and Tony, and above all, the weather was fantastic - no rain!

My arms by the end of Gerrards! 1997 was the last time I rode an outfit without leading links, and at that time I thought never again.

Although I can't afford to get a BEARS outfit done, we do have an eligible K100 in our garden, and I am sure we could come to a shared ownership arrangement if someone wanted it.

Let me know what you want to do Marianne and I will help all I can, maybe if you put an add in other bikes for sale you might find a partner.

You did great, thanks for being part of it all!

As part of the team involved I was pleased so many people turned up and enjoyed the day. The thing now is for those intrested to get on with getting a outfit sorted and getting on track, oh and Julie it was a pleasure I can't remember having made anyone smile before.
