Could be a young Geoff Atkinson with Brian McAnelly ? Geoff rode with Brian before Malcolm. The only ones I rcognise from the group photo are Jimmy Martin, Malcolm and old Joe Burns ( if thats who it is). So who is the bloke on the bike ? lol. You realise Dave there is probably only you and me on the site that has any idea . :D

After see Les Siddle at the vintage club on Wed he was able to confirm two other names. Left to right Brian Park,Jimmy Martin,
....3?.... Stan Dinning Les,s first Passenger,Les Siddle and Mac, ....7?....., ......8?..... and the guy on the bike was Tyne Tees sports reporter George Taylor. The venue was Croft and film footage was shown on Fridays TTTV. Daph I passed your regards onto Bob and he returns the regards to you. It would be great if we could find the names of the three others but Bob bless him at 87 could not help.

Cant work that out Dave. Les and John Barker had a bad crash at Scarboroug in Mid 64. They had another accident at Gask in possibly 65?. Croft as in Autodrome didnt appear until August bank holiday Monday of 64. So how could Les be there with the passenger before John?

Geoff Les described Stan as his first passenger but I dont know which year.I know John rode at the TT with Les in 62 the first year I was at the TT and in fact as you know evenings in the Dog,s Home put resulted in your dad and others forming the NEMCRC. Maybe Stan had retired by this date and just stepped in for TTTV. The first time I rode with Les was at Beveridge Park I think in 66. Stan had done the heat and final but was exhausted and was unable to do the handicap race.I stepped in and we finshed second behind Mac.we would have been third but after passing us Brian Macnally ended in among the trees.Probably the reason John Barker was not there being a butcher , he worked on a Saturday.

I didnt realise Les Raced in 66. I know it was in that year that Brian died at the Park. John didnt race after the crash at Gask Dave.

Geoff I may be a year out it could have been 65 I am not sure. I raced at Croft with Les because Bob Clark worked Saturdays then I raced with Bob on Sundays and bank holidays up untill he retired I think that was either 66 or 67.

Geoff has senior moments Helen and I have senior/senior moments. Will we see you at E/F this year? Terry and Kathy are hoping to get to the Bob Mac meeting in June.

Unlikely I will get there... haven't been to the Bob Mac for several years... I don't think any of the Manx crowd are going. I would love to see Terry and Kathy... haven't seen them for years and years.
