Thanks for all the advice and information, plenty to think about that's for sure.
It looks like we will have to be a bit harder into corners and checking passenger positioning to start off with. Tyres are not getting that hot, not sure how old they are either, therefore it will mean trying to get more heat in, again more aggressive riding. Thanks again

I had the same issue when i first started. I bought a race winning bike from Barry and David Smith. I complained about the 'head shake' to Barry ( the driver ) and he said.......go faster and it will stop. It did.

I am betting Its the track,as Geoff says its not getting heat into the front.I remember when the PC/F350s raced there,Pat Galagher ran an inter on the front.So I tried the same in the next race.loads better,less understeer,and that race meeting was in August!If you can try and get the bike to a different circuit,and see if it behaves the same.Alternativly,fit an inter on the front and see if things improve.

This happens to my bike when the front tyre is cold, usually on the warm up lap only. You can try running an extra pound in the front, see if it helps. I usually run 11 psi in the front and rear, around 18-24 in the side.

It should be fine once you get some heat in the tyre. if it is not then maybe there is something else wrong.

Sounds Like the Old issue I had with the 'Tin Windle' back in the days when I was quick ... Off Throttle, On Cold Tyre would shake really bad at front into slow Right Hand corners - especially Druids at Brands on Warm-Up Lap where it was first point of slowing down from leaving grid/pit lane. (didn't happen at Lydden as had 3rd of track Right Handed before the slow Right Hander so tyre probably warmed enough!!). Once it was pushed, it wasn't an issue.
I am surprised Old Belly not suggested 'Don't Shut Throttle Until you Braking!'... you getting soft Geoff? But I understand if you a novice GVH.. and not sure of what to expect. Maybe just ride Brakes initially, and work front tyre and it may go away?
When I finally got Ireson Chassis, it didn't do that at all

At your age, you're forgiven I suggest he builds up his speed in the slow corners and go from there.
