Dave and Nick did well over 103 mph on their 350 TZ outfit in 1993. With a snapped clutch cable.

With regard to the snapped clutch cable, I recall Fred Brindley saying someone asked him if he'd given Dave his signal at Ramsey Hairpin. Fred replied that he didn't need a signal as he was going so slow out of the corner that he'd had time to have a conversation with him!
