I use an older version of this to lift mine when I'm on my own. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/transactive-d ... SwepJXZX~B

I used to make the electronics for these, so had one for testing the new designs etc. I "forgot" to give it back when they took their business off shore ;) . Its more than capable of lifting a sidecar one end at a time as long as its mounted properly. This looks like it could be worth a punt. Its got the horizontal track and may have the vertical posts with it. Or you may need to make these.

jc :D

I use a hydraulic car engine crane that I re-positioned the wheels to lower it. Put 100 mm blocks under the tyres of the bike, roll the crane under, hoist it up & onto the stands. Footy uses a block & tackle or his forklift.

I can't believe there are so many different ways to lift a sidecar, next you'll be telling me there are other ways to change tyres than using tyre levers!

Richard,
Why have they got a sink mounted sideways on the wall?
I'd have thought all the water would run out.

Photos of Andy King's hospital bed conversion - did made it very easy to work on it and clean it on Saturday, even managed to get the wheels off for cleaning, and the full fairing on to check handholds without needing to take it off the stand.
