Re: Dick Hawes
Dick always had time for a chat and he helped me out a lot at my first TT.
I never saw him anything other than cheerful.
A sad loss to all who knew him.
RIP mate.

so sorry pam
Re: Dick Hawes
Thank you to all those who have sent messages of condolence following Dick's death on Sunday 6th October. Having spoken to Pam yesterday, it was Dick's wishes that there would not be a funeral service, simply a private cremation.
Pam has requested that no flowers be sent, please. However, Dick was a keen supporter of the Billown Club, and a competitor of many years at the Southern 100 and Pre-TT Classic Races. If anyone wishes to make a donation in his memory then this can be made to the "Southern 100 Supporters Club". This has been agreed with Pam, and Southern 100 Chairman, George Peach.
Any donations received will be used to fund a memorial (the final details to be agreed with Pam at a later date), and for the Southern 100 organisation to continue their sterling efforts running their popular road races. Please send any cheques payable to the "Southern 100 Supporters Club" directly to: Mr George Peach; Ellerslie; 128 Malew Street; Castletown; Isle Of Man; IM9 1LT - please also include a note mentioning that the donation is provided in the memory of Dick Hawes.
Pam expresses her thanks to everyone for their understanding and support at this sad time.
