Re: CRMC New Eligibility Rules
I think the problem might be that the rules are open to interpretation. That is very definitely the problem in F2. The rules state what you can't use not what you can. So if somebody has a new idea and people disagree the rules that are set don't cover it.
Was it done at the time, is it period? It's not simple but then again if there is no advantage from it and it is safer and cheaper then it would be kicking someone off the grid when they should be allowed to race in a lot of peoples' eyes.

Re: CRMC New Eligibility Rules
Would you not call a lighter stronger chassis, bigger and modern tyres, and very large engines an advantage

Re: CRMC New Eligibility Rules
Do you use modern tyres or are they 25 years old? ( in danger of getting personal)

Re: CRMC New Eligibility Rules
No problem with modern tyres so long as they are the period size

How far do you go with it, that's the point I'm asking. Shall I just go to the pub?

Nothing wrong with Imperial valves, just remember you heard it here first there are things in life which will never catch on,the metric system, 2 strokes, mobile phones and while I`m being controversial there are 2 things in life that should never be given to Women.
