Hmmm, well Daph, as you may remember one of a passenger's responsibilities was to push the beast sometimes

.....push the beast sometimes

yes Bob,and doesn't Mountain Bottom to Mountain Top seem miles when you are pushing

but having to get from the front exit and over the back wheel only seems to takes seconds when ...not pushing

Seconds? Yes, except when it's Hall Bends, never managed to get that right as a passenger

That always meant that the Hairpin was sometimes 'interesting'

Also have a rare distinction of ending up in the barn at Barn Corner, thankfully that was in the days before Armco and the doors were left open for racing

And what a good job she did!
Just spent a couple of days with a lovely bunch of people - Reg Charlesworth, Grant & Ian Tapsell - thanks for all your help guys - Nick Robinson, Mike Bellaby, Colin Rust, Derek Plummer, Jim Blanchard and a wonderful story from Chris Vincent about how he sat behind Scheidegger and Deubel and watched them barge each other off the track which allowed him through to win - (unfortunately I cannot get him to join the forum, he doesn't know what a PC is) and of course thanks to the two stand-in passengers Rob and Annette who did an amazing job at such short notice - and not forgetting Graham P and JP who didn't get out on Saturday due to engine problems and the old pan scrubbers who kept us fed and watered for the duration
