thanks for all the well wishing texts and messages and a massive thanks to all the marshalls and staff at nobles they were fantastic and all the guys in the paddock for helping to pack up and coming over to drive vehicles for us ....

pete is still in nobles and SHOULD be being operated on today Saturday that is to pin his knee his dislocated hip hass been put back in already ..i have a broken shoulder

Just got back off holidays to read this... hope you both have a speedy recovery and hope to see you up and about soon.

petes managed to blag a wheelchair and is off outside with his rollups via visiting joe

bet he feels better after a fag...poor chap....well atleast he can spend time with donna ......get well soon .....

Just been to see Pete and Joe.
Joe's still confused (wasn't he before the accident!!) and looks like an extra from Dr Who, with his red eyes and bruises. Enjoyed a chocolate pud and some strawbs, and Annette has been feeding him melon and pineapple, so he should be really healthy when he gets out.
Pete met me in the corridor (twice) and we adjourned to the cafe. He sat in royal state there, interviewing visitors! Lots of them! He is insisting on having his knee properly set before he leaves the hospital. Go for it, boy!
Will visit them agin tomorrow, so post any messages and I'll print them off.
(Guy's doing well, Conor's improving, think Karsten's been flown across.)

"Red eyes and bruises", sounds like Joe to me. Please pass on my best wishes to Joe and all the other top TT adventurers who are having an extended "break" on the island. Tell Pete ta much for his help during the early Alflatt/Speechley pre TT learning sesions.

...on sunday I've been to Nobles to see Pete, who's still waiting for his operation, they wanted to send him back home, but Pete wants to stay on the Island, Pete was in a good spirit but he insists to get his operation done at the Nobles...

Op tomorrow, Gert... he stuck to his guns. Be grateful for news on Karsten... a lovely man.

...just arrived back home, and had a call with Karsten's friend, Karsten is ment to have a op, but they decide to wait with that till the pressure in his head is coming more down, they think about next week to do the op and after that to wake him up...
