Probably a better selection of 'goodies' for quick engines about now than was available in days past, and possibly of better quality as well. Over120 bhp should be not a big deal I'd think.

Deffo remember seeing one Alfa boxer lump, IIRC it went quite well. Unsure as too exact year but prolly Snet or Brands.

I’ll have you know that BMW did produce solos and sidecars in that colour, called the ‘Sahara’ range admittedly it would appear that most of them sported guns rather than palm trees in 1940, but I’m sure Rommel would have been impressed with our bike's turn of speed . . . albeit a little tricky in sand with 13” wheels.
