...late in the afternoon that friday I drove up with my TT team, Woody, Jack and the girls, over the Laxey coastroad to our planned place for the night, Guthrie's Memorial , halfway on our way we heard on the radio that the Mountain road was closed cause an accident, closed again, many closures every day, sometimes they closed it cause of an accident, after opening it again it took half an hour to close it again cause of another accident, a total madhouse...we stopped at White Gates, where the road was blocked, we talked with the police and were happy that they allowed us as "bib-bers" to drive up later with the marshalls, still a beautiful day...

...first raceday, saturday 4th of june, the Dianese Superbike TT and the Sure Sidecar TT Race 1 on the roll, did something this day me and my friend Peter Corlett were planning to do since last year, we went together to the Mountain Box, the special thing about it was that we went on Peter's trial-sidecar, drove firstly up to Peter's house at Greeba Bridge, Peter on the trial, me following him in the van, at Ginger Hall Peter took a little road up the hills, when I couldn't drive further I parked the van and jumped beside Peter in the chair, what a ride we had, what a road we had, think it was much more worse then what the passengers experience between Ginger and Ramsey, was happy and sore when we arrived, thanks for the nice ride Peter... :D
