This was emailed to us today via our website. Appears to be from someone who knows Steve:
Steve, I remember you, but I doubt you would remember me. I was a marshal at Lydden in the mid>late 70's, who sort of got drawn into the Jack Levy world. I eventually became Jack's friend, he even came to my wedding in 1983, but since he married again and moved to Wales, I have lost contact. He may not even still be with us, I don't know. Perhaps you know what became of him. I have quite a few pictures of the Unorfordox in action with Ian Wardlow in the chair. I would like to find out anything I could. Thanks, Wohl

Tiptop Terry

Genuinely one of the all time achievements captured in real monotone

The recption that Jack got from the spectators at the presentation was really good, a well deserved award IMHO

What an incredible looking machine. I take it that the engine is mounted between the rider and passenger? How did it go?

It didnt often go , so that s why he got the trophy because he managed to finish one race.,John English was no relation to the other

Think that is MkII. As others say it went intermittently and very, very loudly

If Jack had ever got it going properly he would not have needed an ACU licence but a Private Pilot's Licence instead
His battle order for the day on arrival at a meeting was, 1) unload welding bottles, 2) unload outfit, 3) start tinkering with said beast, 4) make tea, 5) fire beast up, deafen all within 150 yard radius for a few seconds ere it expired in a series of coughs, spit, farts and bangs, 6) return to stage 3)
